Thursday at 3pm in Frank Adams 2. The speaker will be Prof. Raphael Hauser from the University of Oxford. X-ray Tomosynthesis with Nonlinear Compressed Sensing Raphael Hauser, Oxford Mathematical Institute Joint work with Maria Klodt, Oxford Mathematical Institute Abstract: A new generation of low cost 3D X-ray tomosynthesis systems is based on multiple X-ray sources distributed on an emittor panel. When photons emitted from two or more sources have spatio-temporal overlap on the detector panel, partially convolved measurements ensue. We will discuss nonlinear compressed sensing models and algorithms to deconvolve the measurements, resulting in 3D image reconstruction.
